SnapParty for company parties

The company party photo game that brings your team together.

Your guests scan a QR code and get photo and video tasks on their own phone. The tasks get colleagues from different teams talking — and along the way you get pictures of your party nobody else would have taken. No app and no account.

How it works

In four steps, with no preparation for your guests.

  1. Scan the QR code

Your guests open SnapParty in the browser. No app, no account.

  2. Get a task

For example: “Find someone from another department and take a photo together.”

  3. Take a photo or video

Straight from the task. If you like, it earns points for the team.

  4. Watch together

New pictures land in the gallery — and, if you like, live on the projector or TV.

Why people don’t mix much at company parties

When everyone ends up staying with their own team again.

At company parties, colleagues meet who often only know each other from meetings, emails or passing in the corridor.

A photo task makes the first step easier: it gives you a concrete reason to get up, talk to someone and do something together.

To be clear

Getting talking, easily — without classic team building.

SnapParty isn’t facilitated team building and doesn’t replace staff development. It’s a relaxed game for the company party, where photo and video tasks quietly make sure people start talking to each other.

Personal photo tasks

“Find someone from another department.”

You can build particular colleagues right into tasks — with their name, their role and, if you like, a picture. That way people find each other who otherwise only know of each other from meetings.

For Christmas parties

Planning a Christmas party?

There’s a page of its own for that — with festive photo and video tasks, the year in review on camera and everything that only fits in December. Everything else on this page applies there just the same.

What’s included

Everything for your company party photo game.

  • Teams and points

Split your guests into teams if you like — across departments or locations. Completed tasks earn points and a shared leaderboard.

  • A design to match your event

Colours, fonts and background can be adapted to your company party. That way SnapParty fits your event visually.

  • Live photo wall

New photos appear straight on the projector or TV. That way the tasks become part of the party and not something only a few guests see on their phones. A laptop connected to the projector is all you need.

Your own tasks

Make your company part of the game.

As well as the prepared tasks you can create your own — with your teams, locations, people and in-house stories.

“Find someone from Graz who has worked in the Vienna office.” Or: “Take a photo with someone who was on Project Aurora.” That’s how a general photo game becomes yours.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about SnapParty at company parties

How does SnapParty work at a company party?

You set up the tasks, guests and design beforehand and get a QR code. Your guests scan it at the party, enter their name and see their first task straight away. Every photo and every video lands in your shared gallery and, if you like, live on the photo wall.

Do your guests need an account?

No. Your guests scan the QR code, enter their name and join in. Neither an account nor an app is needed.

Can we create our own photo and video tasks?

Yes, as many as you like. The prepared catalogue is a suggestion: you can change any task, switch it off or replace it — and add your own with your teams, locations and in-house stories.

Can we split the guests into teams?

Yes, and across departments if you want. Points and the leaderboard can be switched on — without them it runs as shared collecting without competition.

How does the live photo wall work?

It runs in a browser window on a laptop connected to the projector or TV and shows new pictures as soon as they’re uploaded. You decide whether a picture has to be approved first.

How many guests is SnapParty suitable for?

From about fifteen guests, the group tasks and the tasks about particular people really come into their own. At the top end, the package you choose decides — the difference between the three is the number of guests. The largest covers up to 400 guests.

There are more than 400 of us — does that work too?

There’s no ready-made package for that, but there is a solution: send us a quick message with your number of guests and the date, and we’ll set up the party to fit. Nothing changes in how it works — only the size is set by hand.

Does the host have to book it themselves?

No. Just as often it’s the assistant, the organising team or one department for another who books — and sets up the party at the same time. On the evening, the QR code is all it takes. The party stays in the account of whoever set it up.

Does SnapParty work for a summer party or a kick-off too?

Yes. Summer parties, company anniversaries, team events, kick-offs and department parties all work the same way. For the Christmas party there’s a page of its own with festive tasks and the year in review.

Can we adapt the design to our company?

Colours, fonts and background can be set. That doesn’t mean a full corporate design package with your own logo in every place.

Is this team building?

No. It’s a photo game for one evening. That more colleagues end up talking to each other than usual is the effect — but it isn’t a facilitated measure and no substitute for one.

What happens to the photos and videos after the company party?

They can be viewed all together and downloaded in full resolution — photos and videos from the tasks, plus the messages from the guestbook. How long they stay available is set out in our privacy policy (available in German).

What does SnapParty cost for a company party?

There are three package sizes, based on the number of guests — a one-off payment for your party, no subscription and no renewal. The features are the same in all three. The current prices are on the home page under “Packages”.
