Why a photo game at a wedding?
Get your guests talking — without even trying.
At a wedding, people often meet who have never seen each other before: both families, circles of friends, colleagues, club friends and neighbours.
Photo tasks give your guests an easy reason to start talking to each other. That’s how new encounters happen — and wedding photos that probably would never have existed without SnapParty.
Personal photo tasks
“Find Anna, the bride’s sister.”
You can build particular guests right into the photo tasks — with their name, their role and, if you like, a picture. That way people who didn’t know each other find each other, and you get truly personal guest photos.
- Photo togetherFind Anna (the bride’s sister) and take a photo together.
- New acquaintanceTake a photo with someone you only met today.
- Young and oldA picture with the oldest and the youngest guest — Thomas and Mia
- The momentCatch the moment someone wipes away a tear.
For you as a couple
Prepare it once. On the day, SnapParty runs by itself.
Tasks hand themselves out
Before the wedding you set up the tasks, the guests and the design. During the party SnapParty hands out the tasks and keeps score.
Photos live on the photo wall
New pictures can appear on a TV or projector while the party is still going. A laptop connected to the TV is all you need.
Everything in one place
After the wedding it’s all together: the photos and videos from the tasks in full resolution and your guests’ video messages — instead of scattered across group chats.
Video guestbook for your wedding
Some memories don’t fit in a photo.
As well as photos, your guests can record personal video messages for you — right on their own phone, with no extra camera and nobody having to stand next to them. So what stays from your wedding isn’t just pictures, but voices, stories and your guests’ wishes.
An alternative to the wedding photo booth
Not just photos from one corner — but from the whole wedding.
A classic photo booth stands in one fixed spot. SnapParty goes with your guests through the whole party: to the tables, outside, onto the dance floor. If prints and props matter to you, a photo booth can still be the better choice — and you can have both.

Frequently asked questions
What couples want to know beforehand.
What is SnapParty for weddings?
SnapParty is a digital photo game for weddings. Your guests open it in the browser via a QR code, get photo and video tasks and upload their results to a shared gallery. No app or guest account needed.
How does the photo game work at our wedding?
You prepare your wedding in SnapParty beforehand and choose the tasks. At the party your guests scan a QR code and get their tasks on their own phone. Photos and videos are collected and can appear on the live photo wall during the party.
Do our guests need to install anything?
No. Scan the QR code, enter a name, off you go. SnapParty runs in the browser; no guest account needed.
What about guests who don’t have a smartphone with them?
They can still appear in the others’ photos, for example through tasks about particular people. Only guests with their own device can play along and upload their own photos.
Can we write the tasks ourselves?
You get a ready-made task catalogue and can adapt it before the party: deselect tasks, add your own and name people who should appear in tasks.
Is this an alternative to a photo booth?
Yes, if you want photos from the whole party and more interaction between your guests. If prints and props matter to you, a classic photo booth is the better fit — and you can have both.
How long do the photos stay available?
They can be viewed after the party and downloaded in full resolution. The exact period is set out in our privacy policy (available in German).
Can you give SnapParty as a wedding gift?
Yes, and it’s a common way to do it: the maid of honour, the best man or the circle of friends set up the party, pick the tasks and hand it over ready to go — on the wedding day, the QR code on the tables is all it takes. The party stays in the account of whoever set it up; if you want to manage everything yourselves, it’s better to set it up yourselves.
How many guests does SnapParty cover?
The packages differ only in the number of guests; the largest covers up to 400. If there are more of you, send us a quick message with your number of guests and the date — there’s no ready-made package for that, but there is a solution.
